Am i right in thinking that the first HIGHLANDER film was due out on Blu-Ray in France? I can't seem to find any mention of it now.

Any idea if it'll be released on BD in the UK.

BTW, maybe the delay is because they're removing the wires from the end scene

Harsh but funny

Some of the older 1980's cheesy movies with special effects might look just too revealing on BD. They might require a lot of transfert work to make them look worthy of the format.

The wires were removed for the last US DVD release, but NOT the UK Ultimate Edition.
