Default Thanks?

So the first thread I post gets locked. All I wanted to do was show that there are people out there who need to be educated about the big difference between the truly High Definition you get from BD and the ultra compressed version you get from downloads. Not to mention the Audio quality difference on most BDs compared to standard 5.1 DD from Downloads.

Anyway another one has reared is ugly head today.

http://www.thestreet.com/story/10444...ts-moment.html

When will this ridiculous notion that downloads are as good as BD stop.
P.S. No more Photoshopped pictures PLEASE.

Only Blue would know, I dont read this garbage as there are haters everywhere

People hate Sony,Wal-mart,any other big successful business so they write anti stories, etc. Sorry if I am off track but i didnt waste my time reading the story

I don't care how technically good a Blu-ray disc can be, it can't compare to the quality and ease of movie download services via the Web.

Though I don't see why that other thread got locked. I think that article was informative not meaning one has to agree with it. Or is one only supposed to show positive articles regarding Bluray ? kind of kills the debate methinks

Your thread got locked for a very simple reason it was getting out of hand how the 3rd Reich and it's atrocities relate to an ill-informed Blu-ray post. This beats my logic but a number managed not only to make the link but posted photo's (with photoshop) to prove their point. There are still PM's flying about 24hrs latter over that thread.
As for Oh no blu-ray is coming to an end your a little late to the party (by about 6 months). We have heard it all before. As soon as Blu-ray won the same illogical arguments reappeared only it was download instead of HD DUD. One day Blu-ray will be superseded, the designers of Blu-ray are talking about 15 years plus life span. Don't bother finding every negative article on the net about Blu-ray, there are plenty of sites that still specialise in these articles, so there is no need to turn this site into another.

Blue, I'm glad you try to talk things out instead of banning too quickly too easily with no explanation. I think it does not hurt that a mod takes part in the threads along with the rest of us.
Now the reasons for the locking of that other thread are clear and further speculation is irrelevant IMO.
