Exclamation Help me complete my home theater setup!

Well, I am going with the Yamaha RX-V663BL for my receiver. I am just trying to settle for my speakers. Right now, I am eyeing both of these Klipsch setups:

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1176507037737

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1122654018549

Money is obviously an issue here. I am of course trying to keep it as cheap as possible. That said, would I notice that much of a sound difference between getting the Synergy Series instead of the Quintet?

Can you/did you try them?

When you will listen to them you will answer your question...

In my opinion, your best bet is to get the speakers that sound the best to you, even if that means waiting a bit to get the money for it...

I'd really not like to spend more than $750-$800 on my speakers/sub...

Does anyone have any complaints with the Klipsch Quintet set? It is exactly what my buddy has and they sound ridiculously awesome.

Don't buy a little speaker system

Look at what crackin is showing you, the sony's are nice and will sound awesome, the 7000's could be bought from ugotadeal.com for $154 last I checked, there is a shipping charge but its like $30, you still save $$..... I love my sony speakers

I don't have any complaints at all. I am only using them for the surrounds and they are fantastic. I love'em

Myself, not a fan of horns....

I like Crackin's Polk setup, you would be thrilled.

I haven't heard that line of Klipsch though, so best bet is to audition in store.

The speakers are good. You can get it all cheaper elsewhere though...

Monitor 60's (each shipped)

Polk CS2 (shipped)

Monitor 40's (pair shipped)

The sub is the same. Money saved.

I know that a lot of you had Polk set as suggestions, but when I was out at Best Buy today, they had the following set-up, and I literally did not want to leave the home theatre room...

Center:

Floor-standing:

Surround:

Subwoofer:

What do you guys think?

Well, I personally have never heard them but they look very nice. All that matters in the end is that you like what you hear. It's a very good idea to hear sound equipment first hand.

Which I did, and I didn't want to leave. My buddy was begging me to leave cause he had to get home. lol I was blown away. Everything together, is a little bit more than I want to spend on speakers, but maybe I will do it. Haven't decided yet...
