Hey guys just curious what people are asking their parents, loved ones etc.. for christmas to help improve their home theater setup?

I really couldnt think of anything so I just asked for a power conditioner or a psp and then for the grab bags just a bd

i asked for 7 or 8 movies and that's about it.

next year i'm gonna ask for nothing but gift cards to Menard's, Home Depot, and/or Fleet Farm. i'm hoping to start remodeling my basement next winter. after that, home theater here i come!!!

haha yeah I told my gf we should just upgrade the onkyo 605 to the 805 and it would be for both of us and that didnt go over very well

that's why you make you sure that home theater equipment is at the top of your christmas list stating that you want it badly. never say "surprise me". you'll end up with a sweater that has kittens on it that grandma knitted.

I honestly don't need anything because when I want something I buy it. That's why Christmas is always disappointing to me, if there's nothing to get excited about it's bound to disappoint. I told my family that I'd rather get nothing and give nothing but they vetoed that idea.

That's a great idea. We have a Menards here as well. Great prices on home improvement stuff. I've bought all my wire, plumbing, and duct work from there. Menards is the place!

I still like Christmas. Anything that gets me paid time off work is a winner in my book. Plus it's nice seeing family that you don't see often and eating a big dinner. I would like it better if Thanksgiving and Christmas were more spread out though.
