Who's getting Dr. Strangelove next Tuesday? (nobody - it's delayed) - Blu-ray Forum

With the biggest movie in the history of the world coming out next week, i don't want my fellow Blu-Brethren to forget about this Kubrick classic. The last 10 minutes of this movie makes me pee my pants. Sellers is just a little bit more than "on his game" in this one.

If I remember correctly it's been bumped to some time in 2009.

Yeah if you don't get cover etc and no press releases it was defin. pushed back.

I didnt know that Titanic was coming out on Blu Ray next week.

I thought DR. S was postponed until next year.....

It was never announced for December and is not coming out at this time.

Actually, Amazon.com has had it listed for release on DEC. 9, 2008 for quite a while and has also been taking pre-orders. I had also heard it was pushed back, but I still have my pre-order in just in case.

True, but it wasn't actually announced. The Amazon listing wasn't correct.

Yeah I wouldn't get your hopes up about seeing this out next Tues...haven't heard a word about it anywhere and Amazon doesn't even have a release date on the page

what the...Man, this is damn ridiculous, first Universal re releases a lot of their best titles on DVD without giving them simultaneous blu ray releases, and now Sony keeps pushing back the release dates of their best titles! These studios really need to get their s*&t together!!!
