help with importing wave audio files to ps3 - Blu-ray Forum

downloaded some music in the form of FLAC files. i'm new to flac, i decoded the files to wave files. and i tried to import them to my ps3 through my network, and for some reason the ps3 cuts the songs short. i can play the songs just fine on itunes.

The PS3 can only play lossy encoded music files - MP3, AAC, WMA and Atrac. Essentially what you are doing is you have a WAVE file and encoding it in a lossy format for network playback.

To retain the quality of the files, burn them as a CD audio disc. Or encode them as MP3/AAC/WMA.

I don't have a home net connection. Can u tell wither it is possible to do something about the "enable ATRAC and WMA "using a pc for example .

well that sucks, i haven't burned a cd in 5 years maybe more.
