meh. wolverine's the only xman worthy of getting his own movie (and magneto, though obviously not an xman) i hope it doesnt do that well because i honestly dont want 10 xman movies coming out with crappy plotlines and lead actors that can't carry a movie by themselves. make it a miniseries or something. does anyone really want to go see 2 hours worth of storm's origins?

No, but Deadpool and Gambit would be interesting. There are plenty of characters that could be involved in an interesting story. Look at Iron Man, when that movie was moving forward many people thought it would be a b-movie at best. I think as long as the stories are good.

i heard about magneto, they're smart to wait and see how wolverine does before going any further. and i disagree with the comparison to iron man. he is a single superhero (and casting rdjr definitely helped get people interested). since the xmen are all minor heroes part of one big team, it makes sense for a their to be a movie about all of them. but splitting them up into separate movies is where i think it will get boring. but like you said, with smart casting and a well written story they might turn out more successful than anyone is anticipating. wolverine already has the casting part down, we'll wait and see how good the story will be

I don't know about separating all of them; hardcore fans know that Wolverine has the most interesting story; even the first couple movies dipped slightly into that.

Hopefully Marvel has used the same formula for this as it did for Iron Man and the Hulk. Iron Man was obviously the best, but the Hulk held its own.

Pleased that Gavin Hood is that directing this, Brett Ratner wasted alot of potential with the trilogy as far as I'm concerned.
