I Got Eagle Eye @ Target for $15.99, Therickus's Story - Blu-ray Forum

And so....I went to Target for Eagle Eye. I found it on the end of the aisle, and they had a sign that said $15.99 on it. I picked one up and went to the register. The register rang $29.99. I made a comment about the sign, and ended up getting it for $17 bucks. I am super happy.

Maybe a hot deal for you, but not for everybody else. It was obviously some kind of "error".

Yeah, that's not a repeatble tip, that's a freak occurrence. Lucky you, but no one should rush out trying to find this deal.

The sign you saw was probably for the regular DVD and the clerk probably didn't care enough to check.

Yep saw the same thing at my Target today. Too bad I already picked this up. I knew it was in the DVD's spot.
I have to quit buying on release weeks!

I think this is actually Target policy, if it's in the wrong location then they'll take the blame and give you the price you saw... I've had a couple purchases work out in my favor because of this... Maybe we should all start screwing them and put the blu-rays in the dvd's spot and dvd's in the blu-ray's spot

Im pretty sure that the actual problem was....that there was no sinage at all made for the Blu release....and with that said....I bet this is something a majority of people could find at their local Target. It wasnt that someone put 1 blu in front of a dvd sign....its that the dvd sign(and the sign for the single disk dvd....the 2-disk was like $24.99) was put in front of the Blu-rays, as a result of their being no actual sign for them.

one last thing....the sign is still there....told a friend about it....he went down, and did the same thing.

I posted a thread today regarding the samething. I don't think I was believed.

I went to my Target and there they were: The Dutchess and Eagle Eye both for 15.99. I was told by two employees that they were on sale until the 4th.

I am glad someone else out there also found them at different Target stores.
