Default Xonar HDAV is now Bitstreaming All HD codecs

Xonar HDAV is now bitstreaming correctly (True-HD and DTS-HD-Master). Still has a 24fps problem but other than that its doing everything its supposed to....Too bad it may be surplanted by a $45.00 video card that has Protected Audio Path over HDMI - now they just need software makers to support the card (WinDVD is working with S3 as we speak).

Prerich,

I've been thinking of getting a blu-ray drive for my pc. Did you pick up this card? If so what has your experience with it been?

Thanks.

No I didn't - becasue the intitial release was bombed!!!! I was going to get it but changed my mind while Asus sorted its driver problems out. Over the Arcsoft forum people are now loving this card (now that the drivers and program work properly - they just have the 24p problem to fix now). I have however, have had an excellent experience using the Nvidia 9300/9400 motherboard - 7.1 audio through HDMI and using Vista I upsample the output. This has given me some of the best sound that I've ever heard...period. My HTCP has reclaimed the house championship!
