Default 20th Century Fox BD prices

Does anyone know Why the 20th Century Fox Blu-ray disc prices are so high? $40.00 list price and $28.00. I appreciate that they often have DTS-HD Master Audio tracks. Of course it would be nice if a Blu-Ray player could decode this codec at the 5.1(7.1) analog outputs!!

Default I'd like to know also

Fox has some good titles. I presently own 9 of them.

Most recently I purchased Devil Wears Prada and Eragon.

The DTS sounds good, but frankly I don't think it's worth $5 - $10 extra. The Sony and Disney movies I've gotten recently all tend to be LPCM which I think is great.

I would probably buy more Fox if they were in line with everything else. I just ordered Night at the Museum for this week.

The same deal here in Belgium and Holland,

If you can find them, than they are about 40 Euro, compared to 22.9 for a Sony titel. (New Sony titel = 27 Euro)

Can't argue with this criticism. Even with Amazon discounts or anything else, the Fox titles are noticeably more expensive than just about anything else out there.

IMO this needs to be refined a bit.

Fox had the most expensive sd dvd's, the most expensive Dvhs tapes...and now the most expensive (catalog titles) BD pricing.
Either get over it... or don't buy them...as their not likely to change their pricing policy anytime soon.

Fox prices are high.. both night at the museum and eragon are around £23.99 over here ($48) but it seem's it's best to play the waiting game...

Some titles by Fox are around £17.99 or £14.99 now.. so time will tell on prices.. for me unless it's a must buy i'll wait a few months!

Fair enough, but I think Fox needs to get over themselves a little bit.
