I have a few hundred feet left of CL2 in-wall audio cable that I used for my Polk speakers - wired to a central in-wall jack.
My question is....can I use this cable to make up speaker cables that terminate in banana plugs on either end? This cable has two leads...a "red" and a "black" jacketed leads...referencing the enclosed install file shown, would I just split the two leads over the end of the plug like it shows and install the end cap? Or do I need a different type of wire that is non-split? A bit confused : ) http://www.monoprice.com/manual/INST...NA%20PLUGS.pdf What I have now....notice the two leads... ![]() |
