As I was downloading my firmware update for my psp, I noticed an icon that says that this update is only for the 2000 series. We all know about the newer psp model. Is it possible that in the future, the 1000 series will no longer support updates? In other words, you'l have to get a 2000 series psp to update your system? I think that this would sound crazy as well as unfair because not everyone on here is going to upgrade to the latest model of the psp right away or even at all.

Only parts of the updates from now on are 2000 Series specific. Software features relating to the video-out port and additional flash memory cache used for faster loading (can be turned off for rare compatibility issues). |
