In April I bought an LG Player and it's a decent player just no bells and whistles.
And while my player only have given me minor headaches I do hear that LG players tend to just suddenly DIE. so as such I was wondering what Blu Ray purists would recommend should this player die all I really want to do is stream video off a Hard Drive and watch regular Blu Rays maybe beable to access BD Live features (so Wifi which this player doesn't have) Not sure if I want region freeness yet. The TV I have now is an LG (an HD 1080i CRT) If that makes any difference the other TV is a Vizio LCD I don't care about DVD play back either as I have an Oppo upscaler for that. |
