Default SONY STR-DG820, how to level up sound for back speakers?

I bought a new set of speakers to go with my SONY STR-DG820 but they are way much bigger than the previous ones so i can't put them on stands right behind my head. So now they are further back behind me and i need to level up the sound of the back speakers but i can't find the option.

If anyone knows exatly how to do it, please post it cause now i dont have a good surround effect coming from the back, sound is too low.

Thanks

If you added new speakers you should do the auto cal again.

But you just go into the amp menu with the remote. Then on the 820 scroll to speakers and look for levels using the buttons....In those menus you can change the speaker levels.

Your speakers should have come with a little microphone, size of a silver dollar, about 5/8" tall, place that at about ear level, on your remote you their should be a ACAL or Auto Cal button, or you can go into the menu and under system(its been a while) or at the very end of scrolling down it will have auto calibrate, and then you click the enter button on your remote. It will count down a few seconds and then you will hear sound coming out of the speakers, should take about 30 seconds.

Otherwise, you will need to set the distance and decible (dB) level yourself under the speakers option on the menu. Get out your owners manual and have fun.

you don't need to have a sub for auto cal.

Well everytime i use auto cal, i get error 33 right after the first set of sound, base on the manual, error 33 is when a speaker is missing. All 5 are there and working exept the subwoofer
