Default defect disc ?

Just recived "gone baby gone" but when I try to play this then the player (BDP S500) just locks up and it is impossible to remove the disc, ( did get it out of the player after reset the player.

What is this defect disc or firmware upgrade but I have the latest firmware for the player.

Since you are up to date on the firmware, I would say the only two other possibilities are a defective disc or player. Can you play the disc on another known-good player somewhere?

I understand. Most of us are in the same boat.

Perhaps take it to a audio/video store or if you have a friend with a BD player.
