So, I'm getting married next year and I'm talking my fiance into getting registries in target and amazon. That way, I can try to get some blu-rays.

Anyone ever did this, or ever thought of doing it also?

One of my best friends wrote Beer under the comments for their baby shower. I wrapped a 40oz Mickeys Malt Liquor bottle for him and put in with the baby gifts lol

Why not I say? I don't get why the women want to repurchase things like plates, toasters, etc.

I would have put them on mine but was forbidden. Instead I have 200000 dishes and a juicer that have never been out of the box.

I wish Blu-rays existed when I was getting married. Funnily enough, we actually received a DVD player as a wedding gift. That was in 2002, though.

I disagree.

Blu-Rays are cheap, sign up for places that put out expensive stuff so you can re-sell the expensive stuff and get a ton of Blu-Rays instead of people cheaping out on you and the entire family only purchasing you one Blu-Ray.
