Default Led?

I did a lot of research on plasma and lcd before i bought my TV. I am not too familiar with LED. MY dad was looking at the new LED TV from samsung. The 55 inch. Since I am not too knowledgeable on specs of LED TV's. I am not sure how good these TV's are compared to LCD or Plasma. IS this a good way to go or should i push him towards the LCD or Plasma?

Does anyone have any experience with this kind of TV or with this model (UN55B7100)

Thanks,

i can tell you that I am totally impressed with my A950, i can't imagine that the LED set couldn't be even better, which would be unbelievable IMHO

LED flat panels are LCD TV's. LED lights are used as the backlight of the TV instead of fluorescent tubes. Basically, LED LCD's are brighter and better.
