Default For coffee lovers - Keurig

Just picked up the platinum machine @ Bed Bath & Beyond for $169 - 20% off coupon.

This thing is incredible! We have one of the Bunn personal machines @ work with the packets and the Keurig completely OWNS that system. Coffee out of this machine has so much flavor and richness.

I was hesitant to drop over $100 on a non-traditional machine but so glad we did. Taste is *almost* comparable to using a decent french press.

Check it out if you're looking for something new.

I picked up the same machine at Sam's this weekend for about $130. Came with 4 boxes of the K-Cups and a filter.

We have a similar system at work, and I think it's pretty good. It works well at my house cause my wife is not a coffee fan.

BTW, has anyone with the machine gotten the accessory that allows you to use any kind of coffee? The K-Cups seem a little pricey.

My wife uses it all the time. I usually get her coffee from The Green Coffee Bean Co (great guy I met in Ketchikan, AK) and she can grind it and use the accessory to brew it.

I think my wife got it at Bed, Bath and Beyond using a $5 off coupon. She gets like 10 coupons a month.

Tassimo is much better.

Starbucks Coffee for me. Lattes, Capachionos, and Teas for my fiancee. And I never have to do anything more than press a button.

I drink Earl Grey tea mostly, but I have been trying the different flavors at World Market whenever I get the chance.

I got the same machine for my wife for Christmas. She uses it all the time. I don't even drink coffee.

For that price does it dispense BEER?

Nice machine though! I've had to cut back on coffee myself as the caffeine is not agreeing with me. I'm down to 5 cups a day max.....was drinking about 15 a day.

ha! yes it should dispense beer and play blu-rays.

I also thought it was slightly weak but just adjusted the amount it brews to make it stronger. Also tried some of the darker blends and they are pretty good.

for the guy who was up to 15 cups - YIKES!!!!!!!

i have one of these at work but a higher quality version-- same brand though. there are a lot of different types of coffee you can make with this-- vanilla roast, jet fuel (xx bold), etc.
