Default What's the last play / musical you've seen?

Where are my fellow theatergoers? What have you seen recently? thoughts? opinions?

recently saw:

- Frozen - great new songs, and stage design, special effects that astonish - it's gonna be a hit (Captain Obvious)

- Big Fish - DC's Keegan Theater continues to impress with it's musicals and this adaptation of the Tim Burton movie to stage 'sung' form has such a solid score and songs

Haven't been to one in the last year but I do enjoy going to the theatre.
I did book an Elvis tribute show that is playing next Saturday so looking forward to that.

I saw Frozen too. I don't like how they did Olaf. What did you think?

I don't get to go that often. But I try and go each holiday season to see A Christmas Carol. Can't see that enough I saw Newsies at the movie theater, if that counts at all? I wish they would bring more shows to the movies, Lion King comes to mind as one I would love to see.

Not sure if this counts or not. A few years ago I saw a filmed production of From Here To Eternity: The Musical.

Last one I saw was Mary Poppins at the Kennedy Center in DC, probably 2010.

I used to go more often, but it's just not in the budget anymore.

I also saw Jonah on stage, through Fathom Events at the movie theater. Another plug for more plays/musicals at the theater

I've seen Wicked, Avenue Q, and Stomp.

All 3 were a long time ago.
