I know that high definition is standard free, there is no such thing as NTSC or PAL HD. And I know Blu Ray players are backwards compatible. Are they backwards compatible with eitehr standard.
I am aware of the region coding but I have art DVDs that are PAL regions free. Right now I play these discs on my computer instead of my standard definition DVD player. In this situation the region is inconsequential and if the Blu Ray player will play PAL and NTSC, like my computer, then it makes my decision to by a new Blu Ray deck easier. |
