The Assasination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.

Even the title is longer than it should've been.

I wouldnt say King Kong as that was great character development. I would say the Hulk was longer than it shouldve been. Got Em!!

Completely agree with that! I actually liked Ang Lee's Hulk (well, better than the new one), but I do think it could have been trimmed down more.

Heat, honestly too long at 3 hours. Shave that puppy down to 2.5 or 2 hours long and it's good to go.

Really? I found it to be right about the right length, most of the scenes push the plot.

And let's be honest, it's about a guys lifetime, summing it up into a short movie almost feels like you're leaving out too much.

Yea I find myself to get impatient sometimes and I hear that a lot about King Kong. But when I watched it I wasnt in no rush to see Kong and liked how they were developing Jack Black, Naomi Watts, & Brody's characters. As for Hulk, I like the film but I remember watching and saying to myself "man where is the Hulk at, when is he gonna change" The execution wasnt nearly as good as developing the story as it was in Kong! Got Em!!

Ya, I don't know what's worse, watching an epic 3 hour movie where my ass is stupid sore by the end or the more usual cookie cutter movies clocking in at 89mins exactly.

To me the film feels like a collection of short stories without much of a central structure to pull the character through. The beginning and end of the movie work for me, but the middle section gets a little trying as they constantly change storytelling techniques.

Pretty much if a film is long or not if u enjoy it then u are most likely gonna say its not to long, but if it drags then u are most likely gonna say its to long. Simple as that. Thats why I use the Hulk as my pick because in actuality it was to long but I still enjoyed it. There are plenty of films I could say are to long that I dont like but then that would be reason why I think they are to long. Got Em!!

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is too long. I'd say it actually just spends too much time on unimportant things. It rambles on a bit and should have been a bit more focused. I would say the same for Avatar. There are certain points when I just lose interest; if they cut out 10-15 minutes the pacing would be better IMO.

Agree on Avatar. Good movie but it does drag a little.

I'd also go with most Judd Apatow movies. I love his movies but they all seem just a little too long.
