Hello,

To the best of my knowledge, it is not available on Blu-ray. Perhaps later this year, as it was a SONY title rumored as upcoming.

I would like to see this one too. Whatever happened to Desperado. That was a good one and shown in previews.

You know I loved "The Mask of Zorro" but was really disappointed in "The Legend of Zorro".

Hey, I was just about to post a thread about this film, but I found this one.

Anyway, I'll bump it up and see if there are more interested people by now?
I also noticed that 'The Legend Of Zorro' has been out for quite some time.
But I don't even know it and I rather see the other one first.

I really hope they'll release some kind of set of these two.
Like they already did with DVD, which I almost wanted to get, only then found out about BD.
This is the one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mask-Zorro-L...1849432&sr=1-1

So, Sony (I guess) should really do the same on BD.
If they release them together in a nice black package with a burning 'Z' on it,
maybe even in a special way, I'd so get that.
Would be ridiculous if they'd "Blu up" the artwork for 'Zorro' now wouldn't it. -_-

It is coming out on December 10 in Germany. Hopefully you will see it hit other regions around that time.

I hope so too - the film had such a fun bombastic soundmix that would sound incredible in lossless audio.

Hm, interesting...
I found this page on Amazon UK: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mask-Zorro-L...2456572&sr=1-2

Now I know that when they have a page it doesn't mean it will be released.
But it's also set for December and a set of both films.
I hope something good will show up.
Blu-ray.com... do you have some news for us?...

You know, "Zorro" is really an extra-romantic Western version of "Batman" isn't it. XD
But it's cool, actually an awesome character.

Who do you think inspired Batman in the first place?

Oh yeah, but it's just, I don't think most people would (like to) see a resemblance.
Even though I know both characters well,
the other day I was like "Wow, they're actually quite similar in ways." . :P

I can't wait to see "Legend", but I'm afraid,
seeing about everybody was disappointed, I might probably be disappointed in a way too.
I completely missed it though, but it was made/released like, what, 6/7 years later?
I really loved "Mask" in the cinema as I always watched the old series.
The film was really well made, interesting story, exciting action, drama and even some humor.
I guess the second one just turned out kind of... simple and cheesy or something?
Probably like that "sequel-effect", that the next one usually fails.
Yet, I can always come up with some appreciation for the lesser movies, so... I'll see...

Hmmm, it's actually acknowledged in comics lore, within the origin of the character itself that Zorro was part of the inspiration behind Bruce Wayne becoming Batman.

The night his parents were murdered, they'd been to the cinema to see Zorro in many of the origin stories - so I don't see why people wouldn't want to acknowledge that.

Here we go:

- https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-L...-Blu-ray/7190/

Hope the double-feature will be a nice edition.
Now we only still need UK-versions to get them a little easier/cheaper.

Also, is it me or do the extras seem thin?...
I'm not sure what was on the most expansive DVD there was, so...
