Hi! I recently purchased an Oppo BDP-80 and I have the menu setup for Mulit-system and I currently have BD-Live off (because I had problems playing Wolfman and Oppo advised me that on some disc I might have to shut it off). I also ordered a Region Free Code Free mod kit on Ebay at the same time. It is all installed, I get the beeps from the player for changing the regions and everything. However, today I guess I really received my first Region B Locked BD which happens to be Henry V because my player is giving me (seen for the first time) screen saying "This disc cannot be played because the player setup specifies a different region!" I hope someone can help me figure out what I may be doing wrong because I have a number of other Region B Locked BDs and being a retired person, I hope I didn't make a bad investment.
Thanks in advance! Rich |
