Default Is a Benny Hill release too much to ask for??

Being an American, I dont know much about English TV on blu-ray. Given the classic nature of Benny Hill, Is there any news about a blu release of the Benny Hill Show? I know the source material isnt the best, but for a show like this, video quality isnt my main concern. Im guessing this show was edited with a chainsaw for american viewers. I have yet to pick up any US dvd releases because Im holding out hope for an inclusive collection on blu.

Is it true they wont show this on UK tv???

It is very true that Benny Hill is no longer shown on English TV. He is considered to be very very sexist. Which is a shame, because I have always found very funny. A lot of people miss him and would like to see a release.
