Default Rookie DESPERATE for help on PC playback

Let me begin at the beginning. There are people--I am not one of them--who rip the contents of BDs and post them online for others to download and playback on their PCs. Now, naturally, I would NEVER do such a thing myself, but hypothetically, let's say I wanted to. Let's say I didn't want to bother with the physical medium of the DVD, but merely wanted to grab the liberated BD content from the appropriate usenet group, unpack it on my PC, and then play it back as if I were playing back an actual BD that I had in an actual BD player. In this hypothetical scenario, which I hope and believe some of you may have theoretical knowledge of, HOW THE F**K DO I PLAY BACK THE BD FILE ON MY PC?! I'm offering Monopoly money and a Vermont teddy bear to the first person who can get me up and running and watching BD files on my PC!
Uh...hypothetically speaking, of course.
