Fifth Element trade in? - Blu-ray Forum

Anyone have any info on weather or not those of us with the old Fifth Element BD can trade it in for the remastered that being released?

I do not have any info on a trade in policy that several months ago was mentioned as a possible option. In reality I really doubt they will offer a trade in policy. If they had a trade in policy they would need some type of system where they resale the used discs.
Most likely Sony if they are going to do any thing they would just offer a $5-$10 rebate for people that own the old version if you mailed them a form of proof of purchase. People can always sale the used Fifth Element on EBAY and get at least $10 most likely.

I read they would offer a trade-in for the movie. But check and let us know for sure. I would contact the studios customer service.

Chronos initially had a problem which they fixed and it is a free trade-in.

I called, fully expecting customer service to not have a clue what I was talking about...we they proved me wrong!
