Default Amazing Harry Potter Gift Set!!

Amazon.fr listed a 1 to 6 Harry Potter movie collection. It will be available in DVD and Blu-ray. The DVD edition will have 12 discs and the Blu-ray will have 6. And according to a french Harry Potter site, the designers of the box set made extra slots to put the Deathly Hallows discs when they are released. But the most beautiful thing is the package: it's a replica of Hogwarts!!! I want one now!!

that really is amazing and seems pretty reasonable compared to some of the prices on other gift set special package deals.

This isn't an excusive set to France, it's just that amazon.fr anounces the DVD's and Blu-rays very very early. There are already early details for Star Trek, Angels and Demons and Wolverine.... IMO it will be anounced in the US in september, october....

No it's not... All warner releases are region free...

AND there are empty rooms for the entire Harry Potter collection (including HP7 Part 1 and 2)

France (& all parts of Europe really) gets a LOT more exclusive sets than North America, I just don't see this set ever heading here.

I'm not a big fan of the show but that box set is pretty damn neat. However, it could be another way for you all to double dip. I'm sure they'll come out with another boxset when all of the films are complete.

Then why does it say R2 on it. If I am not mistaken, that's Europe. As for the empty spaces, god knows how many disks will come with the future editions when they are released. Maybe part 7 will come out on one disk, special features for the last film will probably be more extensive than the other disks.

Not likely
I live in France and all the exclusives are really crappy. I don't think this is an Europe exclusive because this kind of set is more popular in the US, mainly because of it's price.

My mistake! What I wanted to say is that most of the time amazon.fr (and most of the amazon websites by the way) give false information regarding region coding (I mean they never say when a release is region free and only give the original country region code, even when the title is region free).

And if I remember correctly the HP French releases are region free and the exact same releases as the US ones!
