Default Trumps Monday Night Raw

Alright for those who still sort of pay attention to wrestling you should have known Donald Trump supposedly bought Raw Then Vince bought it back for double the price. Anyway I thought it was a very entertaining show. Plus all the fans got there money back.

For those who've seen it what did you think?

Didn't see it as I don't watch wrestling, but I did read the Securities and Exchange Commission is expected to launch an investigation into the WWE and GE (owner of USA Network) because the WWE's stock fell 7% because people thought it was a real transaction, and you've got to be careful with a publicly traded company. It's possible WWE and/or GE could get a substantial fine for this publicity stunt.

From what I've heard they had press confrences also. Didn't here what that was about. But Trump threw something out there about the next WM before the whole Vince buying Raw back deal.

They made it look like Trump bought Raw on purpose so Vince will lose money. They did refunds and made the show commercial free. He was going to keep doing it also. blah blah blah

Wow, people still fall for this stuff? The promo the prior week should have been a big tip-off.

I watch it!
I like a good comedy!
Let me hit you with a sledge, see if you ever get back up.
Now, some 2-300 lb gorilla is swinging a sledge and the other guy is still alive? THAT my friend is comic gold!

Yeah, it's real. Sure!

I caught some of that HHH/Orton match, Michael Cole is so over the top it's annoying. Orton RKO's HHH and somehow his head "THUMPED" the announce table, when clearly no part of his dead did so. That Pedigree to end the match was terrible too.

There isn't much to his Pedigree anymore. When he bends and straightens his knees the oppenent falls forward. I hate MVP's finishing move.

It's just a soap opera for men, entertaining if you don't take it serious.

It's still entertaining even if you do take it serious. I quit watching around 2000 when they "absorbed" ECW. I think there's a misconception out there that people who take it serious don't understand that it's "fake." I was completely serious about ECW from about 1996-1999 and i was hella entertained and as informed as humanly possible about what was really going on behind the scenes. Makes you appreciate it even more when two guys can go in there and "make you believe" for about 20 minutes.

You gotta treat wrestling like you would comedic action theater. Jousting at Ren Faires is along the same lines.

I had to figure Trump wasn't going to be an every-week on air character, but it might've been amusing for him to name a GM then make occasional appearences thereafter.

Raw was funny this week. Decent title match too.

I was asking who watched the show and what they thought about it. Did those articles tell you what happened on the show before the show?

When a guy like this is more perceptive than the people on Wall Street, that kinda explains the last year.
