Default Real proof that PS3 works on any electrical outlet worldwide (from Beyond3D forums)

From a Japanese tech site but posted by a forumer there named "crossbar" posting pics of it:




And here's the proof itself:


That third pic says it all.

It may be hard to see (due to the lighting) but you can the "100V-240V" mark on the AC input text column and one line below it, you can see the 50/60hz text engraving.

So, don't be decevied by the limited voltage reading that is stated in the back of your console. The Sony PS3 uses a universal PSU so in short, the PS3 can accept any electrical voltage anywhere in the world.
