United Kingdom Friday Night Lights: The Complete Series

I notice the specs for the UK release of Friday Night Lights: The Complete Series have been updated, are these 100% confirmed now?

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Frida...lu-ray/234715/

Does anyone have the disc breakdowns for the seasons?
This site's specs says 14 BDs (vs the US release's 13) plus one DVD. Is the original movie (listed as a bonus on the front cover image) on the DVD?

If anyone has this yet and can maybe upload some packaging shots (including the back cover) that would be awesome.

I guess we can assume this release uses the same masters as the US release but can anyone confirm? It would be amazing if we somehow get the extended episodes or even the original music cues (I know that's highly unlikely)!

Again, I have to moan about the lack of information available from Mediumrare Entertatinment and the inability to find out anything from them anywhere! What kind of company are they running?! Is there ANY way of contacting them?

I'd like to know the final specs for this too - particularly whether the set does feature English subtitles as claimed on the Blu-ray.com entry.

Season 1: 4 Discs
Season 2: 3 Discs
Season 3: 2 Discs
Season 4: 2 Discs
Season 5: 2 Discs
Movie: 1 Blu-Ray Disc

DVD is a ‘Bonus Disc’. No idea what’s on it yet...I’ll try and update you soon.

Yes to English subtitles.

Screenshot of Bonus Disc DVD Menu attached.

I would guess the main Blu-rays are exactly the same as the US release (MPEG2 video with Dolby Digital 384kbps audio) which is why the extras are on a separate DVD (only 2.8Gb in size so could easily have gone onto one of the Blu-rays with a new encoding).

I'm not a fan of these cases where everything goes in together. It is better than a cardboard sleeve but every time I touch the case a disc seems to become loose. 1 normal size case per season is what I would like to see.

I've been eyeing this set for a while, but was wondering if the Blu-ray edition includes the uncut series finale? I have the DVD set from 2013, which only included the 43 min syndicated version (no Landry, nor a load of key farewell scenes). I'd love to upgrade, but don't feel it's worth it if it's still missing those 20 mins of footage.

The US set has the longer 61-minute version, so if its a port of that, then it should be there. There's only 1 set of HD masters so it should be the same.

Pretty sure it’s a port, with the movie thrown in on blu and dvd.

I had no idea this was released in the US, never mind in the UK! A very pleasant surprise, especially given the frequent issues of a lot of great tv shows never getting a Blu ray release.
FNL is a fantastic show but I never thought it would have enough of a following over here for this to be viable. It never really got the ratings it deserved in America either.

Thank you so much for this thread. I've been wanting to upgrade my DVDs of this series for sometime but wasn't sure if the UK release included subtitles

Had this on my list for a while but never seen the uncut finale version, I would love to if it's on there. I'm a mega fan to the point I've travelled to Austin for fan events twice and do a tour of the sets so I would love to see the full version

I’ll check mine later and let you know. I don’t remember the final episode being longer than a usual episode though so I wouldn’t hold my breath on it being the uncut version (which I had no idea was a thing?).
This is one of my favourite TV shows and I bought it from CEX online at the start of the year for £25. I had no idea it was released so recently until I stumbled into this thread this morning. I’ve watched it through countless times and figured I’d better grab a physical copy as it had been off Netflix for a while.

Thanks. I've got quite a few copies of the DVD but definitely will upgrade at some point.
