both Harold and Kumar movies delayed in Canada? - Blu-ray Forum

I went to Best Buy, Futureshop, Walmart and HMV and none have the Blu-ray releases of both movie, they have the SD versions though.

Its strange because i don't think those stores sold out because when going to the new release section there is no tag on the shelve identifying the title and price.

I asked the sales rep at Best Buy and he said they had to pull them both from the shelves because of some defect and have to send them back or something. Doesn't sound right though.

Has anyone from Canada spotted both releases???

This movie is distributed by Alliance in Canada, like all Alliance release, they are gonna come but they'll be late. Some alliance stuff came out 1 week after, some other 6 months after.

Sounds like your best bet is to order it from Amazon.com since I got mine today through them.

I ran into the same problem when looking for them today. I was told by Best Buy that they didn't recieve them, and didn't know when they would come in. They show them in their flyer for release today though?

I am going to rent these first. I don't know if they're worth full BD price.

Yeah it is all Alliance, they are terrible for getting Blu-Rays on the street date. (I work at a video store so I know this all too well) I hoped they would get them out today cause I really want H & K 2. Oh well.
