Another way that Blu-ray is better...

I'm not sure if durability is factored into the equation when people are deciding which hd format to purchase. I have just purchased an hd dvd player after being blu-ray only since Chistmas because I just didn't want to wait for some of the titles. I have had this hd dvd setup for literally 2 days and there are already small scratches on my discs and I have done nothing other than put them gently into the player and gently back into the case. The discs aren't effected from a playback standpoint, but it just begs the question of how long these discs will last. I have had my blu-rays for 6 months, and there is not a scratch on them. My friend jokes that I could tie one to the back of my car and drag it for 30 miles and it would still play. I don't know if that is true, but for someone looking to buy, durability is definately something to consider.
