Default What good is Dolby Digital Plus?
So I've been reading on the new sony player, and it's big ability to decode dolby digital plus, yet lacks the ability to decode dolby digital true hd or dts master audio or dts hd. I then wondered just how many movies actually have a dd+ track. I browsed the top 40 selling blu ray movies on amazon, and guess what, not a single one had a dd+ track.
SO MY QUESTION IS, WHAT GOOD IS DD+ DECODING? IS THIS ENCODING METHOD SUPPOSE TO SHOW UP IN THE FUTURE OR WHAT?
instead of giving us decoding on what we need now, they give us something we don't even use, great......
