To celebrate May the 4th--Star Wars Day--the folks at PToPOnline are streaming pre-alpha footage of the indefinitely canned Star Wars: Battlefront III. Check out the stream below.

According to Kotaku, Star Wars: Battlefront III was "99% done" before LucasArts put a stop to the project. The version you see below is believed to be very early code, from roughly eight months before development was canned.

Also, is anyone else bothered with it just being called Star Wars: Battlefront? It's pretty much something I've had a problem with other games in general. Retitled as if it's the first entry, be it a reboot or a sequel.
