Does anyone know if the PSP is region locked?

Nope it is not, well at least the PSP 1000s aren't. Since I have been playing imported games on my PSP for awhile now.

I heard there's like a couple of games that are locked but for the most part though no they're not. UMD movies are locked though.

It's the same as PS3: the games themselves are region-free, but DLC will be region specific, due to title IDs.
