I see today that there is a pre-order up for The Flash: The Complete Second Season and the series has barely begun.

Where the heck is the pre-order for the show that many fans have been waiting for: Netflix's Daredevil: Season One? What's the hold up? Anybody have a release date?

Probably waiting until they get closer to the release of Season 2 around March/April.

Maybe he did and just wants to own it now. I've watched plenty of films on Netflix and then bought them on bluray because I enjoyed them and like to own them physically.

Well, at least, I see that there are a lot of DD fans out there!

How long after House of Cards debuted on Netflix before it was released as a Blu ray set? Maybe that will give me some idea as to how long my wait is going to be...

The first two seasons of House of Cards debuted early February and were on bluray by mid-June. Season 3 was end of February and early July. So about four months/four-and-a-half months from release to bluray.

It's a different studio, however (House of Cards is Sony, while Daredevil will be Disney), so I wouldn't use that as a comparison...

I thought it would come out in November to help promote Jessica Jones but maybe it will come out before Season 2 next year, Hopefully Disney actually releases it and there isn't some type of deal with Netflix that stops the release for an extended period of time

I have Netflix but my internet is crap that streaming either takes forever or looks bad, so I always prefer to either download or play off the disk. So it would be nice to watch this in HD with lossless audio
