Default Good sub for the price?

So I got an email from Bestbuy today on todays deals, and I thought this seemed pretty fair. Here At the moment my set up is only my Pioneer 1018, and two fronts (2 M20 Polks). I think it is time to rip my floor apart with a good sub, and for $240 it seems pretty good, and it has down firing which I want so the ground shakes.

I'll pick it up tomorrow if I can, if you guys think I should that is.

On a side note, if I do pick it up, how do I program my receiver/PS3 to only use the fronts and sub, the last time I set me PS3 up it wnet full 5.1 so the sound was retarded because I don't have surround or a front, or a sub. I got it set it up again so it only uses the 2 front speakers, by adding a sub will I need to change anything?

There are much better deals from Acoustic Audio. You can buy 10", 12", or 15" front-firing or down-firing subwoofers at much cheaper prices. In addition, you don't pay tax or shipping. Check the owners' thread.

If you only have two front speakers and a subwoofer, in your receiver's menu, set the center and surround speakers to NO and the front speakers and subwoofer to YES. Make sure you set the front speakers to small and set the low pass filter crossover frequency to 80Hz.

The seller does not ship to Canada. One of the members is from Montreal. He bought it through a friend in the U.S. Send him a private message or ask him in the thread.

The sub 10 has been plauged by amp problems, I have one in my daughters room. You could get better for the money, as Big Daddy said. The AA is a good choice IMO!
