We all know that by lowering the BACKLIGHT, reducing the BRIGHTESS,
and all around smartly calibrating our monitors we can reduce consumption greatly. My 40" XBR 2 (default) uses about 221 watts. Calibrated (and noticeably more pleasant to watch) it uses less. Can someone tell me what I've reduced that cosumption to . . .all the recent charts (cnet, snobtv . . ) won't give me the answer. Is it under 150 watts, do you think? |
