Does Direct/Straight Mode Bypass Volume Adjustments?

Doc Samson Blu-ray Samurai Member since:May 2021 Location:Shadyside 4K collection:198 Blu-ray collection:334 DVD collection:31 iTunes collection:194	Does Direct/Straight Mode Bypass Volume Adjustments? I know Direct/Straight mode on AVR's bypasses room correction and EQ. However, does it take into account volume increases/decreases on each individual speaker? IE, Centre being at +1db. Or does it just keep everything at reference 0db?
