Default Superior region C releases?

Are there any region C releases that are superior to their A/B counterparts? So far there hasn't been any real reason for me to go truly region free (I just have two separate machines for both regions), but I'm pretty much in the dark about these releases and I'd like to know if there's any reason for me to change that.

You shouldn't worry about that, i believe. If you could find any russian or chinese good release it would region free.

The last player I bought was region free because it was cheaper to get one than two separate players and doesn't take too much room in my A/V cabinet. Region C Blu-rays are like the Loch Ness Monster and Big Foot, some people say it exist but I don't think it does.

Lol.

Default Region C

I am looking for a Region C blu-ray.

Region C: Asia (except for Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and other areas of Southeast Asia).

If anyone has one to purchase or knows how to acquire one, please PM me.

I don't see the value of Region C, usually the C region differs only by the addition of the local language. in most cases, while it marked as Region C are actually region free.
locked Region C Blu-ray do exist. For example, the Chinese version of the Titanic and Prometheus, Some clips removed by local censors, These movies do not play on region A/B players.

There are some of Russian blu-ray releases packed with a lot of memorabilia. Booklets, cards, etc. For instance, Mission: Impossible - Fallout limited edition. But most of those extra materials are in Russian, of course.

But at least,Russian versions usually do not cut the movie, china's conservative censorship makes the bluray uncollectible.....
I never buy this incomplete movie.

Maybe?
Some publisher like Disk Kino may have exclusive releases?
for example, they recently released https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Black...lu-ray/329044/ claim it is currently the only 4K version.

But I haven't seen a locked region C movie so far from Chinese market...(maybe I haven't watched enough BD yet, normally I only use the 4K disk)
4K UHD will be region-free anyway so I don't think it will be a problem. I bought my region C player mainly for warranty reasons.
