USA Pete Kelly's Blu's
This is one of my all time faves from the 50's that I think would really be awesome on Blu Ray. Pete Kelly's Blues is a great film from 1955 and was shot in beautiful CinemaScope (2.55:1). It had some great stars in it,Jack Webb as trumpet player(also director and producer!),Janet Leigh,Peggy Lee(Oscar nomination!) ,Ella Fitzgerald,Lee Marvin(as a clarinetist!) ,Edmond O Brian,Martin Milner(as a drummer!) and Jayne Mansfield in minor role,one hell of a cast!.It takes place in Kansas City and has a great jazz score! Jack Webb was quite talented,on most of his films and TV shows,he starred,directed,produced,and even wrote!
