Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced that they will bring both the rated and unrated versions of the comedy 'Fired Up!' to Blu-ray on June 9th, day-and-date with the DVD release. Video will be presented in 2.40:1 1080p AVC accompanied by a 5.1 Dolby TrueHD soundtrack.

This was actually quite funny, the two leads had great chemistry together. I actually ended up seeing it twice in theaters. All over the BD, day one.

HAVE decided to get this, will be going to Best Buy right when they open to grab this Danneel Harris blu-ray.

Yeah, I'm keen. Premise sounds good. I liked Bring it on a lot. Kind of like a a different take on the idea. And something I'd have done if I went to highschool in the US with cheerleaders... :P

Picked this up blind, and will try to watch it tonight. Where the hell is Bring It On on BD? Now there's a movie that will truly benefit from HD!

that was the funniest part!!!!

i was actually surprised by how entertaining this was, I would never buy it and normally I would have never seen it. but yeah it's fun. nice looking blu also.

Hmm, I may have to check it out afterall. I was on the fence on whether to or not but after seeing a bunch of negative comments on it, decided to pass.

I really enjoyed this. Not as much as Bring It On, but definitely in the same vein.

When this movie was in the theatre I didn't give it a second look, but decided to pick it up, I was glad I did - very funny...the timing and dialogue of Eric Christian Olsen made this movie for me. It worth a watch for those people looking for a "dumb" comedy to sit back and relax to.

Yeah, basically take your brain out and set it on the floor and you're good to go. Definitely a fun escape from reality.

I wanted to see this, and almost saw it in the theatre, but it was already gone from the theatre after only being out for like 3 weeks.

I was bummed.

But I'm even more bummed now because of the absurd price that Amazon wants for this. Scarcely will I pay over 20 bucks for a movie, let alone a movie like this, let alone as much as 28 dollars. I really hope this thing comes down fast, because otherwise I'll be waiting a long-ass time to see it.

I remember watching this and sitting slack jawed in awe at just how terrible it is. And yet I love it. I can't explain it, and I don't think I could even try. It's not a good movie, but it's funny. But mainly funny because I'm like "This is the exact type of movie that I normally would not like and would rip to shreds" and yet....I loved it.

The unrated version is the one to go with, and there's some notable changes to dialogue, particularly when Olsen is trying to point out to his friend just how straight he is (when discussing whether to go to cheer camp).

The blooper reel is pretty funny too, during the credits. And the unrated version is unbleeped on the blooper reel.

Definitely will be picking this up.
