Unhappy Why I'll miss analog OTA transmission.

I suppose I am just being nostalgic. An end of an era. The end of an over the air technology I have known my entire life. The figiting with the reception dial and playing with the rabbit ears.

TV shows and movies took on a look of their own in standard definition. There is a "warmth" to the analog display which you can not get with digital, even at standard resolution. I won't miss the ghosting and other reception issues.

I'll miss analog for my 3 portable TV's. One B&W can continue to live on as a CD player / radio, I think the other B&W can still act as a radio, and lastly, my 4" color portable will only be useful as a monitor for my portable TV games. On the plus side, I'll pick up a small convertor box simply to see how the picture fairs on these portables.

Will anyone else miss it?
