Default Anyone else feel Amazon Hi-Def week was a let down?

The deals were sub par at best mostly being filled with old, or unwanted electronics cheap cables which had a 1 per customer limit and a $1.00 discount. The only truly good deals were the Samsung BD-P2500 which in my opinion was their best deal considering I still feel this is Samsung's best player to date, the PS3 80GB for $350, the X-Files 2 disc set for $25 and the Die Hard collection for $39. The super hero collection was $79.99 a good deal as a deal of the day but is now lower priced at $76.99. Rambo was $23.99 but a few days before that was $19.99. What's up with Amazon all of a sudden. Don't get me wrong they are great and I love them but this was a weak promotion...I remember gold box deals when they put newly released products in there not over stocked and under sold items...Did anyone else feel this way it just seems like their normal deals are better if you just wait...

Yes, I was expecting better choices. I buy from from them weekly and it was a major letdown!

Cool

Just to let you know, you posted in the wrong forum section, this section is for posting deals not discussing deals.

It was not the best deals but i found the box sets pretty good. Not all of them were the best but there was always one movie i wanted out of the 3. So i figured why not just keep one of the three and sell the other two. If I sell two of the three I will get all my money back for the whole box set (maybe spending $2-$5 for my blu-ray I kept).
I did this for every box set including the Action set, Die Hard set, and every other set on there.

Back to the main point, i found it good but not the best. I was expecting better deals.

It definitely seems as though these "High Def" sales are targeted at the beginning collectors and not the enthusiasts.

That said, I was able to score "Journey to the Edge of the Universe" for $10.50 shipped so it wasn't a complete loss.
