Thank you! I just had a look at your Couch. You are right, it looks very similar. I think it is slightly different though. My chaise is longer and yours looks wider.

Fantastic living room. We have similar taste... When I buy a new home, I plan to go as modern as possible.

Yeah, modern is defiantly the way to go!

Just curious... was your couch bigger? because I've got mine split up into 2 smaller ones, purchased from Super A-Mart

Very clean and classy set-up. The TV cabinet is beautiful! I really like the fact that your center and the components are all black too. Excellent job with the wiring and I like the upgrade with your receiver too. Great job!

Very nice looking system. The room looks very comfortable and a great place to relax and enjoy a movie or music.

Very nice. I like the clean setup plus I love the brick wall.

Whenever I buy a house I'm going to make one "accent" brick wall.

They are fabricated with the shielding and terminations. There are also made up of 2 cores, one pure silver and the other OFC (copper).

There are many companies that make pre-terminated speaker cables. Depending on where you live will determine what is available to you.

Put it this way, anything above a quarter volume on my sub and my windows integrity to stay in one piece are seriously challenged!

Here's another pic I added to my gallery. I thought it has a nice angle to show the tapered cabinet styling of the JBL ES series...

I put a deposit down on a new home today. It wont be built for at least another 10 months...

It has a room I can use as a dedicated (mini) Home Theater. Admittedly, it isn't the biggest room (it's only 3.2m x 3.5m) but it will suit my needs and best of all I can feel relaxed about starting a family soon (my Fiance wants Kids ASAP) without worrying about little fingers attempting to calibrate my Receiver etc. LOL!

I am getting married in August so the timing is good for me too.

I am really looking forward to seeing what I can do with it.

Good for you Ryu.
Home building is a rewarding, stress filled and often frustrating experience.
We built ours nearly 5 years ago.
We have a few "woulda, coulda, shoulda's"...suggest you run what you have and want by anyone you can trap lol...to try to avoid the "shoulda's".
I'm sure there are plenty here that will help out.
We were very lucky and had only one change order which was to remove one window from the master suite...a few too many lol and not quite enough privacy. Actually saved money whereas change orders are always costly.

Take lots of photos, especially of the wiring and plumbing before the dry wall goes in. It will make any future renovations much simpler when you can pull photos of the room and all its runs. We have several thousand stills and some movie footage of the huge crane dropping the foundation walls into place, etc.

- New TV Cabinet.
- New pre-terminated speaker cables (hybrid silver & OFC, see my gallery for more details).
- New speaker cable (14 AWG OFC) for center and surround speakers with banana plug terminations.

Please see my gallery for further explanations on these pics, or feel free to ask and/or comment.

Sounds like a fantastic idea... Thanks for the tip!
