Best BD Player for SD DVD upconversion >$1000 - Blu-ray Forum

The top of the line BD Players provide excellent up-conversion of SD DVD, ie Denon 3800BDCI.

What is the opinion of the forum for the best up-converting BD players priced at under $1000?

The new oppo BD uses Anchor Bay for up-converting at an excellent prince but it is not yet available.

What about the New Pioneer Elite BDP-23FD?
