I was just wondering does it matter where i connect the speaker wire
on the top or lower inputs

Short answer, no.

It's all a matter of preference but they have a jumper on them so they both get fed the same regardless of where you connect to.

i did my t90e on the TOP as the instruction booklet showed the top being used
