Canada MovieCash info - use it for any movie?

Hi,

Maybe everybody already knows this, but I just discovered it yesterday, so I thought I'd share.

I bought some Blu-rays at Costco that had moviecash coupons on the front. On the coupon, it said it could be used for Ice Age 3, Night At The Museum 2, or Wolverine.

I wanted to take my daughter to see Ice Age 3 in 3D, so I went to www.foxsummermoviecash.com and entered in the coupon code. I typed in my personal info, selected "Ice Age" from the "which movie?" drop-down and the Fox site redirected me to the Cineplex Ice Age 3 movie listing page. I then discovered that I couldn't select the 3D version of Ice Age (the Fox site had automatically re-directed me to the Cineplex Ice Age 3 2D show listing page, and the 3D showings are on a different page.)

I noticed in the left hand column of the page there was a button called "movie list", so I clicked on that, found "Ice Age 3 3D" and clicked on it, and proceeded to use my movie cash for it.

My point is, although the Fox site directs you to a specific movie page, it doesn't seem to force you to see a specific movie. Maybe it only allowed it because I selected a different version of Ice Age, but I'm thinking that maybe I could have used it to see any movie, not just one of the 3 specified by the drop-down on the Fox website...

Anyone else try this? I might go buy some more Blu's with moviecash and try it ($14.99 for a Blu that comes with $10 moviecash is a great deal...)

Cheers,
Stuart
