Default Silly Odd Story

This is sort of an odd story that recently happen to me.

I had ordered some blu-ray movies thru Amazon from some company without a phone to contact them.

I ordered ‘The Fifth Element’ re-mastered version. When the order came I thought the print on the case would say ‘REMASTERED’. I sent an e-mail saying I didn’t get the right copy, later I realized it was the re-mastered version.

I was thinking, opps I’m an idiot. I couldn’t call and decided to wait for a reply instead of sending another e-mail. Well instead of getting a reply e-mail they sent me another copy of ‘The Fifth Element’ with a return envelope. On the printed return label were the address back to the company and my address as the return(with my name spelled wrong, but no big deal). OK, so now I send it back, no problem.

That’s not the odd part of the story, just giving you a picture for the rest of the story.

Yesterday I open my mailbox to find a envelope from that same company, but the post office has labeled it ‘VACANT’ and it is returned to the sender. NO, this is not the same package I sent out, yet it is another.

The label has my information as the return address, but the ship to address is someone in another city.

I sent the company an e-mail explaining a mix up and hopefully they will fix it for that customer. I am also wondering how many labels did they send out with my information as the return address on it

In this package is a DVD of ‘Batman Begins’ and a letter saying they are returning it, because it was the wrong item.

It would seem this was part of some trade program and this person sent in the wrong version and they were returning it.

I guess I am writing this because of a few things I read in the trade forum and weird/mistakes do happen.

Interesting story. It seems just like a mistake from that company. I suppose they will clear it up in their next e-mail to you or if they don't maybe you should try to call them on the phone, a live talk is the best way to clear a mix-up like this.

Well the story is not over, I opened my mailbox to find yet another package with my return information. This time the 'sent to' information is just completly messed up.

This time is was a PS3 game, 'Rainbow Six Vegas', I'm sure this customer would want it back.

I hope they don't mind me playing it until they get this resolved... lol

I can't find the company phone number.
