AQUOS-HP20 Wont play Friday The 13th - Blu-ray Forum

Hey guys newbie here and I was wondering if anyone else is having trouble playing Friday The 13th. I have the aquos hp-20 and this is the first movie not to play since I downloaded the lastest firmware which was released last Oct I think. I called Sharp this morning and they told me unfortunately there were no up to date firmware updates at this time. What a bummer, anyone else having this problem? How long til a new update I wonder?

I have that player but honestly, I would not expect another update for the HP20. I'm looking at the HP-22 for $275ish. Lots more technology and almost half the physical size.

My old peace of junk LG player will not play Friday the 13th (remake) ether and it would not play The Dark Knight also. I'm going to be getting the new Sony coming out next mouth and will take the LG to the dump.

Man that sucks to pay good money for a player and have to worry about them not playing a movie or have to replace them. I've only had mine a few months and would hate to have to upgrade already.
